In 99.99% of the cases of interest to us, all they do is turn the carrier on and off in the same manner as an IR remote turns the carrier On and Off.
Bottom line is that if the RF carrier is the same and you can find a way to program the codes you can control it.
However, most X-10 and RadioShack RF devices use 310MHz in North America while the TSU3000 uses 418MHz for RF so there's no way for them to communicate directly.
However, if you still want to control your X-10 indirectly using the TSU3000, you can do it using the IR543 (or better the IR543AH) and positioning it where the RFX6000 can send IR to it.
