I am trying to set a light intensity for a scene. Before I enter the program mode, I set the light at the intensity I want for that scene. Then when I put the switch into the program mode the lights come on full bright. I set the scene address and exit the programming mode and try the scene. The scene goes to the full bright setting instead of the dimmer one I want. Any help? Thanks Rich

I just programmed a PCS switch using a Maxi Controller, here's what I did:

(1) Set the scene address (in my case, "N5")
(2) Set the desire lighting level
(3) Press "N5" on the Maxi Controller 8 times
(4) Press ALL LIGHTS ON once

That's it! I don't know how to program without the Maxi Controller. Hope this helps!

Teaching the switch the intensity of the scene is a separate step from programming the switch to respond to the scene.

1. Set the switch to the desired dim level
2. Send the scene address eight times
(i.e. B1, B1, B1, B1, B1, B1, B1, B1)
3. Send All Lights On

The switch is NOT put into programming mode during this process.

Thanks DS72, Larry. I missed that small flowchart at the bottom of that page. Rich
