Hi,

Without the codegen program, is it totally impossible to make the Pronto RU950 to work with the Marmitek TM13 Tranceiver module? The TM13 uses 433MHz, same as RU950. I just need to get the RU950 to send the correct codes to the TM13 who in turn will send x10 codes over the powerline.

Any ideas?

use the file by martin murphy called RF DIRECT- in the component configuration files under X10 lighting for the pronto tsu 3000.

I use these codes for my lighting setup on the 950 and it works a treat with the TM13.just use the lighting pages and modify to suit in pronto edit

Thanks for the tip :)

What x10 components do you use beside the TM13? Brand.

Thanks.

I have-2x LM12U plug in lamp module, 2x LM15EB Bayonet lamp Module for hallway, 2x LW10U Wall switch/dimmer for lounge and master bedroom.

Items all brought from laser business systems and have X10 original logo on.

I'm just about to order 2X MS13E2 Motion detectors to turn the hallway and kitchen lights on when motion is detected.

Iv'e got to admit i've only had my philips pronto 950 for 3 weeks and after coming on this site and then seeing this x10 stuff i couldn't resist buying some gear and already i'm on my 3rd order of x10 bits! This is seriously addictive, but i have to say im well impressed with the pronto for switching all my av gear, lighting, cable etc.

Thanks also to the people who help answer all the questions from people like me who are just starting out.I have spent the last 3 weeks solid on this site learning about my pronto and X10

Great site Daniel

Hi,

My problem is that I want to dim my three 12v 50w halogen lamps in the ceiling and have not found any x10 products to work with those, except for the Marmitek Micromodules, but they are very very expensive.

+ With x10, it does not seem to be so easy to find a product that works with ones devices. Very unclear information about what works and does not work.

Look at http://www.x10ideas.com/ , as I recall there is an article on dimming halogen lamps.
