I believe I have to install a phase coupler, but I'm not sure. I have a small condo, but would prefer not to do the work, not to mention, I'm not sure if it's a noise issue of if I need a phase coupler.
So, what I need is to have someone come out, run some tests and install what's needed.
I'm in SJ, CA.
Thanks.

You can go to X10.com and look for "find an installer" link, you put in your zip and it will list people in your area. These folks have at least a basic understanding of X10 and have gone through the X10 trainig course. Quiz them about what test equipment they have, and what installation troubles they have solved. Having any real world experience is not a requirement to getting listed. Bill www.homeautomationnet.com
