Well, I sold it! I put a for sale sign up and sold my house. Now I’m homeless and living in a rental while my 3300 Sq Footer is built. So, now….. What to do…. So many choices and opportunities. Was thinking about a HAI system for main automation and security system….. Using my Homevision for IR commands and some additional logic and using an ELAN system for A/V control and maybe adding a Pronto for easy one handed control.

I will have unlimited access to the “equipment closet” which will have a full roll out rack for all a/v, automation control.

I have some X-10 left over but let most go with my old house since the buyer works for GE automation services and he builds high end automation systems for big things like assembly lines and so on.

Looking for a budget of around or under $15,000.00 so I do not want to get too carried away. We carry Elan, Philips, X-10, Lutron, Panja, Crestron and many more but I have been out of the loop for a while with the servers and website of our company that I haven’t kept up with it much.

Thanks for suggestions (hint Bill…. This one is for you)

Chris
