You can use any IR codes to control it. I'd use a CCF for a device you don't own and change the name of the button and device. Example: The play button's IR code for a JVC vcr (assuming you don't have one) would control the bedroom light. The pause button would be a macro that turns on all the lights. You could go on and on. I would save the 16 codes that the IR543 uses for it. You are probaly going to want to use more codes in the future. The Adicon can learn like 516 codes (I forgot how many) but it can only use 84 (I think) as input triggers. You really only gain 20 IR codes over the IR543 but they are a lot more flexable.
As far as programing, I don't have much experience but did look at the program. It looks a little complicated. I deleted it off the computer but will reload to see if I can help with any questions. One thing you may want to do is print the manuel. It's like 96 pages long and is a real help! Have fun with it and keep us informed on how it operated. Not too many people have posted on the Adicon 2500.
