Has anyone used a x10 touch tone controller. I was just wondering how does this work with an answering machine. How many devices can it control. If 10 does it have to be a1 through a10 or can you pick and choose.

I have used this device. You can select which house code, but it is 1-10 only. As far as the answering machine goes, it works, but what happens is you would hear a series of tones before the answering tone is generated. That way, you can send x10 codes before the answering machine takes over. It works pretty well overall. Hope this helps.
