When I try to connect to CPUXA in CMax, I got the error
Comms Retry crc 101 RX0

and no connection. Can I resolve the problem?

Check the Comms settings in C-Max and make sure that you have the correct com port set up in C-Max.

This means you are not communicating with the Ocelot at all. Did the Ocelot work on another computer? Can you connect another device to the computer's RS232 port and communicate with that device?

Controller was wrong programmed by one of our coworkers. It sends always X-10 commands. And can't communicate.
Is there some type of reset or can I make default (factory) reset? Can't find no out.

Programming the Ocelot so that it fills the X10 buffer will not keep the Ocelot from communicating with the PC. To fix that problem, you have to connect to the Ocelot from C-Max then go to CPUXA Utilities and Reload Executive. This will wipe out the program that was loaded and no longer lock up your X10 communications. But you have to get the Ocelot to communicate with the computer first.

Leopard (I called it Ocelot by mistake) send "A extended code" commands without pause. I took other Leopard, and it can communicate - this means, COM port setup is OK. May be, some parameters were changed so Leopard can't communicate?
Is there some hardware reset?

And one more thing - I connect Leopard with terminal, Leopard sends some ASCI- codes via RS-232. May be it is the reason, why Leopard can't communicate with PC.
Really I don't know, what happend - may be, it is in program some "send ASCII" commands, may be some parameters are chanded to send information via RS-232.
How can I stop sending via RS-232 and connect with CMax?

On the back of the Leopard there is a little daughter board that holds the program. Swap the daughter boards between the two leopards and see if the problem follows the daughter board.

Already doone. The problem is in small daughter board. Leopard that doesn't work with it's own daughter bord works fine with alien doughter board.

SOS. The method of Guy Lavoie can't help.
Urgent need a hardware reset for Ocelot/Leopard!

But the advice of Guy Lavoie may be can help to somebody. But in my case it does not work.
How to do a "Hard Reset"

There are some times times that you will want to do a Hard Reset of your
CPU-XA. For instance, I managed to kill serial comms by constantly sending a
serial ascii messages. You can reset the CPU-XA by reloading the executive.
Directions are below

Have the CPU-XA attached to your computer via the serial port.
Have C-Max up and ready
Power the CPU-XA down
Re-apply power to the CPU-XA
Quickly use C-Max to connect to the CPU-XA and immediately use
the Reload Executive command.

There is a short time period between the CPU-XA powering up and it beginning to
execute the user code. You need to attach and begin the Reload in that period.
This will clear out your existing program.

Uncle Sergi,
Guy's procedure is correct.
Issuing a hardware reset would only restart the same offending program.
If you can't clear it by restarting the executive (and you have to fire it up FAST!!) then we will need to send you a new flash chip.

May be, it is some hardware foult?
When I connect Leopard with terminal, it sends some characters, but no meaningful text.
My colleque tell me he programs no ASCII output. Is thip chip preprogrammed or it is just flash memory, that I can purchase in any hardware shop?

Leopard sends ¨v û û û û û û û û û û....
to terminal. I can't connect to CPU-XA befor it starts to send ASCII.
Dan Boone, You are my last hope. What about flash chip - can I purchase in any hardware shop or it is preprogrammed chip, that I can get only from Your company?

Uncle Sergi,
The flash chip can be bought anywhere, but without our installed code, it will be of very little help.
E-mail me your shipping address, I will be happy to send you a replacement.
