I have four lights on an rf remote for x-10. I have a transceiver module in the living room and one in the bedroom to extend the rf range. The 2 transceivers get confused with each other and sometimes cancel each other out when using the remote. Is the only way to fix this by getting rid of one of the transceivers and getting a SR731 Smart RF Repeater?

If this is true does anyone know where I can get one cheap under $30?

Thanks everybody.

What you are experiencing s signal collision, using two transceivers on the same house code is not a good idea and ends up causing more problems than it's worth. You have two options use the better transceiver the PAT01 or a RF repeater as you suggested. We have the better X10 Pro unit PSX01, at $37.

Thanks Bill,

Which of the two is the best way to go?

I would start with the better PAT01. I have had nothing but problems in the long run using the TM751 and no longer recommend them. Locate the new transceiver in a central location and make sure the antenna is extended to as close to 30 CM as possible (use a ruler to set it). This will give you a great shot at success.
