It's a Home Theater Master learning remote control. I actually read at smarthome that it should work.

Rob, I have an MX-500 and the preprogrammed codes for X-10 worked perfectly with my IR543. I checked Daniel's review and it does list X-10 as an Aux component so it should work for you also. If the pre-prog. codes don't work, you can always buy an X-10 remote (about $20) and teach your SL-9000. Check the link below for product specs on SL-9000. The SL9000 manual shows the X10 codes, since I have tested the MX500 and MX1000 and they work, I would be willing to bet the 9000 code works also. Bill www.homeautomationnet.com
