I live in the UK & I've just installed my first X10 switch and it works perfectly...
...until I turn the kitchen lights on. They are Low Voltage Halogens, and I kind of expected that there may be a problem. My question is what can I do to remove the interference caused the transformer? Can I buy a filter? Do I need to change the transformers? Should I just accept that I have to turn off the kitchen lights to use my pronto to switch the lights in the lounge?
The other thing I was wondering was, is there a way to reduce the buzz from the switches when the lights are dimmed? I know this is a feature of most dimmers, but can I make any mods to damp it down a bit?
Any thoughts/similar personal experiences on the above would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

I live in Russia and my advice can't help You to get electronic transformers in GB, but I think You can get them by I-net order or so. We use 50 Hz power lines as in GB, and this transformers can work in GB as in Germany or in Russia. Try to get info from www.omnitronix.de
