Due to my recent RCA/Ocelot experience I am planning on replacing the RCA set with a JVC 32320 unit. Anyone have any problems with JVC TVs and is the IR siginals generated/learned by the Ocelot?

If this one dies, at least it will be under warranty :-)

Dave.

The only problem I have with my (old) JVC TV is that it doesn't have a discrete code for selecting the video input though it does have discrete on and off codes. I'd check to see that the new JVCs, acutally ANY TV you might buy, have all the discrete codes that you'll want.

A way around that is to use a channel up or down command before the video commands. Most TV's will switch to the Tuner input upon a channel up or down command, thus letting you start your macro at a known state...
