Hi,

I have a single Powerhouse LM12U dimmable X10 switch in my apartment controlling a light fitting which has 6 40watt bulbs in it. The switch itself works fine from the wall, but when I try to use my IR7243 to control the lights I get unexpected results. The switch reacts to the ALL LIGHTS OFF command but that is all, other commands have no effect. If I remove all but one of the bulbs from the fitting, all of the X10 commands work. Has anyone got any ideas.....

For reference, I bought the switch from www.atg.com.hk if you need any technical specs.

Thanks
Karl.

Standard 60 watt light bulbs.....not halogens if that's what you mean....the box says 230V, 60Hz, 60W bulb....Philips if that makes a difference :-)

Normally problems with switches reacting to only certain X-10 commands have to do with signal strength issues. Try moving the controller to a different outlet (preferably on the same circuit as the switch and see if that helps)

HTH,
Brett
