Hi all

Ive built my own stair light (vertically floor to ceiling) with 8 pygmy bulbs of 8 watts each which are, i think, connected in series.

Ive got them linked to a LM12U (UK) which keeps blowing its fuse (2amp).

Am i right in thinking that 8 * 8 = 64 watts will be ok for a min rating of 40 watts for the X10.

Anybody got any other ideas on what I can try to fix this.

Thanks in advance Stu Worrall

The 40 watt minimum, and some devices ask for 60 watts, is so the module will get a trickle of current and be able to be 'alive' to listen for X-10 on commands.

If you are blowing fuses, I think you have a different problem that you need to resolve.

Good luck, Jim.
