How can I tell if my low voltage halogen transformer is electronic or magnetic?

The magnetic transformer will have a big coil of wire wrapped around a metallic core and will have some weight to it. The bigger wall warts, are a lot of times magnetic. The electronic transformer will be a circuit board and will be fairly light.

Tony,
"wall wart" is industry slang for the power supply.
It is the little plastic box that plug directly into the AC outlet.
