Many of you out there wish that a Heavy Duty 120V, 15Amp, 1875 Watt Appliance Module existed.

You don't want to start rewiring the wall receptacles in your home or apartment but the plug-in modules can not support the load.

My suggestion is to make your own using the existing wire-in receptacle.

My example would require the following:
1. 6 foot, 14 guage extension cord
2. Smooth finish receptacle box.
3. X-10 wire-in wall receptacle.

Cut off the female end of the extension cord and wire it into the receptacle box with the X-10 receptacle.

Plug it into any wall outlet. Plug in the device you wish to control into it and voila, a mobile heavy duty "module".
