My TV generates noise, which my X-10 system doesn't like.
So if I control my TV (the TV has one of those mechanical push-on, push-off power switches) with a plug-in appliance module, then whenever my TV is on, there will be noise introduced into my electrical lines. Is that right?
If that's correct, then controlling my TV via X-10 is impossible.
Any suggestions?

You put a plug-in noise filter in between the TV and the appliance module. You'll need the filter regardless of whether the TV is being controlled or not. If it generates noise the noise will interfere with other X10 commands.

The reason I said "impossible," was because if I use a plug-in noise filter, then the appliance module won't recognize any X-10 signal.
Unless I put the filter between the appliance module and the TV. In that case, I may have answered my own question.
