I've been using this forum for a while and although I have been a silent user I have gotten lots of great info.I currently use a x-10 setup that I bought from x-10.com. It works ok but not great. However since I am now combining my apt, making a duplex and renovating both, I have the opportunity to do it right.

I figured the users of this board could tell me what they would do in my situation and maybe point me in the direction of someone who could help. My Electrician is not familiar with X10 or home automation and he told me to get him some info. What would you guys do? I'm almost tempted to point him to Levitons Decora system. Is that a good way to go?
