I am interested in sending X-10 commands to my home over the Internet. Is there anything available to help me to do that?

Only some of the more advanced home automation control software. It can be difficult to program, but I think ECS can do this. Look at www.omnipotencesoftware.com

Michael, I can't tell from the ECS web site: Does the computer have to be on all the time to use it with an X-10 CM-11?

You can download the ECS manual as well as a 30 day trail of the program. The operation is a bit involved if you don't have a permanent connection to the internet (cable or RNIS). Good luck!

Imn using a Powerlinc and the free synapse software to send commands over the internet from one PC to another. Works great with a webcam at the remote side.
