I have run into some major problems since I downloaded V3.0 onto my PC: I tried to run my existing T2+ programs on 3.0, imported it, and 3.0 would no longer open

worse, when I opened 2.0, my program was gone: I tried restore points and finally had to use the system recovery wizard and upload my programs from the RP-6's and T2+

I have not determined what happened yet but beware there may be a problem

I got the chance to go through 3.0 and for the most part it is not really much different on the user end than 2.0. But it does require you to decide whether or not you want to upgrade your existing files up to the new software version, to-wit you cannot go back to using 2.0 if you do upgrade. This is the same process you go through when up grading from a T2 to a T2+, where-in you do lose some, but not all of the formatting of your “T2” programming layout. I was able to crash the program but that took a lot of effort, we will probably get a program patch soon just like what happened with 2.0 when it came out, hence version 2.0.1.530. I recommend everyone do an alternate directory install of 3.0 and keep a back up of your original files until any and all bugs can be revealed and corrected, using an alternate directory will allow you to keep both versions on your machine

3.0 is obviously different with the respect that the T3 and U1 are now included under “add new device”. The T3 is without question going to be the champion of this years, whose remote is coolest love festival. The pre-made full color bitmaps and ease & flexibility of programming this creature are un-rivaled I was kind of skeptical at first (which I usually am anyway) but I think I am really going to like this remote.
