What about codes for the sharp LC-3D7U, LC-32D7U
and lC-26D7U, codes are the same for all of them.

RTI Installer: once I learn how to import codes
and such, as I work for a home theater installer
I can help you improve on your code database as
new devices go through my lab.

Great, I wish more people would contribute, if everyone would add their learned codes, the RTI library would probably exceed the pronto library and then some. I only do this because I know how frustrating it is, to not have the codes when you need them. Further, even thought some of the codes might be duds, I would much rather have a pile of unproven codes, than no codes at all.

How do you add codes?

I have captured some for the Dish 942, and they work for the 942 TV1 well. No so for the TV2 which seems to be UHF. They also don't work for the 811 which is the other hd unit they give out. At least they don't work on the unit I have.

In a long and frustrating conversation with Dish tech, they say their new remotes for the 811 send only UHF in the sat mode.

However, you can buy (or find codes for) a remote...the "blue button" remote...that is the older remote, and it will have the 811 funtion with IR rather than UHF.

They don't know the frequency of the UHF signal they send out. They have quick support, but seemingly don't understand powerful remotes like the T2+, Crestron, etc.

They indicated that their "receiver" would teach IR codes...not learn them...but teach them.

Bottom like...

942 TV1 works with IR. TV2...UHF only. This seems to be a problem.

811 now shipped with UHF only for sat box control. It will work with IR code sets.

Just use the maximum setting on “win zip” to compress your RTI master.cml code file and e-mail it to [email protected]

If you do not have win zip, download the free evaluation here [Link: winzip.com]

Thanks for being a contributor

David, I have downloaded winzip and will upload the 942 codesets tonight. As for the 811, it seems the issue is address related. I will try the 811 codesets available for the first several addresses and report back.

Thanks for the help.
