I'm trying to get my macros to work with the T2+ and a TIVO HR10-250. I have a page called FAVS and on that I have channel buttons. In the button I put a TIVO command to change to channel 2 for example, followed by a 0.1 second pause and a TIVO Enter command. When I try the button it switches the channel but then it locks up the rest of the DSS command buttons. The only way to get it to work is to switch the DSS on and off. Any idea what is happending here?

Also I noticed that the Basic TIVO commands for the T2+ are not complete, they are missing commands like List and Ratio. Is there a more current set somewhere?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I think the Mega Code list has HD Tivo commands: the up arrow button toggles between ratios so you can use it in place of the ratio button

I would check the number of IR repeats: if it is set for too many, it can make it behave like this- also try it without the delay

also check for any errors in preview mode, and test each code by itself: it is possible one IR command is corrupt

Mark thanks very much for your help. The way I have this set up is that a FAV button takes you to a set of pages that contains channel buttons for my favorite channels. Apparently when I am on this page the RTI's T2+ remotes hardware buttons, like change channel, guide, etc, no longer work. When I return from the FAV page they operate fine. Is that a normal situation?

I found that I could use a simple command for the FAV buttons, I did not need macros.

Thanks again, this is a fantastic site and service,

Mitch

when you go to the new page, you have to assign codes to the change channel, guide buttons et al for that new page: copy and paste the commands (there are other, quicker ways too)

easy to see by going to preview mode on that page to see if there are codes assigned to those buttons
