Hi there! I just bought the T2+ here in Sydney, Australia. I am running TheaterTouch Designer 2.0.1.530 which I assume is the latest version?

But it doesn't list any remote codes at all for Akai products! Maybe this is not such a popular brand in the USA as it is in Aus? I have an Akai VCR which I need to control (model VS-A77EA manuf. around 1991).

I also have a Sanyo PLC-XU31 projector. I found that I can successfully use the remote codes from the Sanyo PLV-70, which is listed, and presumably has a very similar remote - except for the all-important 'Select' button, which doesn't work!

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
(The) Ralph

PS: I also sent this to [email protected] and they have replied: "I do not have any codes for any Akai products, or any additional codes for Sanyo, which are not already in the IR library. You would need to contact your dealer who can learn these codes into the software for you, with a professional IR capture unit."

Thanks, RTIi, that worked a treat! I had to install ProntoEdit, which I assume was the right way to go about it (?)

I found that codes from another Akai VCR worked - not all of them, but the most important ones. Still can't program the timer, but I guess my dealer can eventually program the rest of the codes for me. Also managed to get the Sanyo 'Select' code from a different model Sanyo projector.

Do you happen to know if there are other brands of R/C that one can also pinch Hex codes from, apart from the Pronto?
