In order to control the lights in my home with the RTI remote control, what X-10 parts do I need, model numbers would be great. Is there any other neat devices I should purchase for it or that will work with the RTI remote. Any help would be great thank you.

There is an X10 IR controller that is available from most places that sell X10 stuff. I don't remember the exact number, but it's pretty cheap. It works with pre-programmed remotes, but the T2 could easily learn these commands from a cheap pre-programmed remote. Whole shebang costs under $50.
A more sophisticated and much more expensive route is to get a whole-house X10 controller like the HomeVision, which costs about $600. But it will do everything including flushing the toilet, and if all you want is light control, something like the Homevision is like shootin' squirrel with a sawed-off shotgun.

From SmartHome.com:
4040 IR X10 Command Console $29.95 - this will acceot IR commands and send them through the power lines to the X-!) modules you have installed. Those cost around $15 - $20 each and can take the form of dual outlet wall receptacles, wall-mounted appliance or lamp switches / dimmers, etc.
