Has anyone fed the RP-6 output directly to an "IR remote control" input to control a piece of equipment. I guess you could use a standard IR emitter from the RP-6 and plug an IR external receiver into the equipment and match up the emitter and receiver. But, have you ever just run a two conductor cable from the RP-6 to the IR input?

I just did several components in several systems this week with Mono mini to mono mini jacks and had no trouble on any of them. They were Integra components, as well as fed the high out into a Xantech connecting block with just a 2 conductor wire.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far. |
