Hi All. we ordered several T1's and T2+'s several weeks ago and did a follow up call to RTI and area distributer to find distributer has none to ship and RTI doesnt know when they will ship either..are these really that hard to get??? RTI was less than fun to deal with...got the "uhh, well I dont really know" kind of responses, thats not the RTI I have heard so much about.

Just seems if they are so hard to get they had better be really cool and be like no other remotes

I guess I will have to wait for them and stall on the install awhile longer

maybe Im just to anxious to get them in and expecting next day delivery on my first order of them.
anyone else have to wait several weks for the RTI remotes??? has been 3 1/2 weeks now and we already paid for them up front

Yeah, we seem to always be out of the T2+s. Can't get them fast enough from the distributor. We order 5 or 6 at a time and they send one or two... like they are having a hard time keeping up with demand.

As for "is it worth all this trouble?" I will give you a resounding HELL YES! This remote is great, a breeze to program, and even easier to use.

There are lots of T2+'s up here in the Seattle area. The new remote is so much better than some expected that perhaps your distributor just did not order enough in advance to cushion the increased demand? RTI actually is now in a position to turn out far more product than could be bought up in any given quarter so something else must be going on. As for the help line, only the higher ups ever know what’s really going on with supply and demand issues.

Our distributor is in the Belvue area and still no idea on when they will ship, we were told a week ago they might ship on the 28th of Jan but that was just an out loud thought from them. Would be nice to have an idea of when

Oh well, I still have 3 MX3000's and a Crestron project to do before I can play with the RTI anyway

Thanks Guys, looking forward to playing with an RTI, we have the RP-6 and antenna coming as well...and an IR-pro

You are correct, i guess our big order was from RTI direct as it was an opening order, still dont have it in yet, but we did call Selltech and have a T1 and a T2+ coming from them as they did have stock on them and should see it today

RTI Installer,

Do you use the sensors with the RP-6? We just were in the selltech office and bought the last 5 video sensors and 2 were repacked..with current sensors, just wondering if it was your returns?? Just kidding

we did fianaly get our initial order fron RTI last week and bought a bunch more from selltech for a job. I am now thinking of stepping into a nice T2+. RP-6 setup for myself.

I must say...I did enjoy the programming of the RTI remotes

I have not brought anything back except for a broken remote in quite a while.
I have not had a need for any video sensors in the last 4 years, I do however on occasion use voltage sensors, further I also use voltage sensors in concert with Niles optical sensors and Xantech current flow sensors.

The new RTI products are really a relief to work with.

That was our first RTI install so I added in the sensors for reliability as its a drive for us to get there to service the system. and a few devices were toggle only( sony dvd/vcr combo) I did use the eject, power, power and eject, power for on and off but home owner is a perfectionist and asked whay the drawer tries to open all the time. so the sensor went on to monitor it. we only used 3 in 2 systems so not to bad, most of the equipment is older sony and panasonic with a ton of B&O. B&O was not to bad other than a glitch with the CD portion.

RTI seems to wax ans wain as to supply. I ordered a few before Christmas, and had them within a few days. I ordered two more through my distributer and they were backordered for a month until now.

T2+ and RP6 are far superior to T2 and IRF6, especially if you happen to have anything else in your house that is electronic...like a tv set.

RTI seems to have really hit on the correct combination. There are still some quirks, but they are generally much better.
