I have a T2 and and a friend wants to upgrade me to a T2+ for free. What is the upside and downside , basically which is better? Thanks for any help.

I agree. I have been defending the T2, but truth be told I have not had any problems with T2+. Programming macros for IR and RF together is more reliable than before and overall communication is improved. RTI seems to have listened to its installers and their problems and addressed the issues remarkably. I like the ability to program macros on hard buttons with the T2+ and the codes are stored in the RP-6 for RF communication as opposed to on the remote itself. The T2+
