I am having major problems in connecting my RTI to my computer. Almost every time i try to connect the USB cable to the T2+, my computer (laptop & desktop) says USB device not recognized and i cannot download into my T2+. I do not have this problem when i connect to and RP6. Does anyone have any idea what the problem with this remote is??????

what OS are you using?
I had a similar problem with the RP-6 a few times but hitting "retry" would fix it
Sounds like you don't have the right USB drivers
Try telling it to download to the T2+ without the download cable connected: it will give you an error: then connect the cable to the remote
