Does anyone know if it is possible to send a command string from RP6 RS232 to X10 CM11A receiver to control lighting? I have tried to send commands w/ no success. I do not know if the receiver is incompatable or the wrong command string.

Best way to do this is to buy an IR543, then stick an IR emitter from the RP6 onto the IR543.
IR543 then plugs into any outlet (does not work well thru surge suppressors).
Works like a champ.

Thanks for the info. I got one & it works fine. Seems limited to only have control to only 16 units though. Enough for now.
