Is the 'Button Test' feature missing from the Macro Editor in V2.0.1.530 or am I going mad ? Its in the help but can't find it im the editor.

Also..

Is the CM-232 nothing more than a minijack to 9-pin D-Type converter or does it do anything clever ?

Thanks

If you right click on an IR command pasted on a button, you will see an option for 'button pause' which I think is the same thing

Thanks Mark

That kinda works- it allows you to repeat codes while the button is held. However, there used to be functions that:
a) Let you detect a double press within x seconds
b) Let you detect that a button has been held for x seconds

What I need to do is to implement a 'system off' macro when the Home button is held down for >2seconds, say. How do other people do this ?

you are correct: I am looking for button test and I don't see it

YET-- I have button test programmed into my T2+ as it was part of the program I imported from the T2 software:

So I know you can import the function: I still think it is in the new software just hidden somewhere!

1) Use the old T2 software and create the button test on any remote
2) Save it as xxx
3) Open your remote in T2+ software
4) Merge pages from xxx
5) Copy the button test macro to where ever you want it.

Guys

Sorted it. The functions I'm looking for are only available in 'Standalone Mode'.
Thanks for the help
