Can someone give me the steps to do this? I have a couple of CCF files that I need to get discrete codes from. Thanks! SJ

In irlibrary manager just press F12, then just paste the HEX code.

I need codes for an iSCAN HD scaler. The CCF file can be found at [Link: dvdo.com]

I don't recall seeing this device in your master list. But I will take another look. If not, can you add it?? Thanks. SJ

Well this is what they have on their site, any body want to put this into one continuous string so that it can be pasted into the ir manager?

A. Power-Off:
0000 # always start with zero
006c # Carrier frequency (38.38 KHz)
001b # Number of bursts
0000
0064 0064 #start bit
0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0041 # Command = A1
0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0015 # value = 0 (ASCII)
0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0041 # Check-Sum = \xD1
0044 0044 0016 0001 # Stop bit
B. Power-On:

001b # Number of bursts
0000
0064 0064 #start bit
0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0041 0016 0015 0016 0041 # Command = A1

They also have an actual CCF file on the same web page. Can you include this in your MEGA library? SJ

OK, I added a bunch but not all of the codes to the mega list under "DVDO", I hope it is enough to get you going.

Thanks, but for some reason my charger stopped working on my T2 and now I'm stuck. Is this something that can be purchased?

Yes and no everyone out here is out of stock, I would suggest calling RTI about this to see if you can get a replacement.

#1 rule with T2 battery chargers, do not pull the cord out of the side of the charger while the power supply is plugged in, it shorts out the power supply. If the power supply is bad, you can replace it with another 9volt 500ma tip positive supply from radio shack so long as it has the same plug on the end.

I left RTI a message. Radio Shack only sells a 9V 300ma or 9V 800ma. Would either of these be OK? I can cut the old plug off an rewire if needed to make it work. Thanks. SJ

I am in the market for a scaler. Have you had time to work with the DVDO unit yet, what do you think about its performance?

I think it works great. However, they are coming out with a new model within the next month which will scale HD (over DVI). It's called the iSCAN HD+. I would wait for that unit. You can get a ton of information over at the AVS Forum.

I got my T2 working and loaded your files. Unfortunately, not all the codes work (especially the discrete on/off). Oh well, guess I'll keep trying. SJ

It apears that the ccf file they provided on their web site was created by one of their customers, so the on / off commands may actualy be for some other device?

My aplication for the DVDO does not involve DVI, I need to use it with RGB. So if I get this thing I will capture the codes with the IRPro and re-post them check back in a week.
