I did not go to the show this year, but I guess it would be safe to mention now that RTI will be releasing (in a couple of months) a scaled down, lower cost version of the RP-6 RF module, kind of a redesigned IRF-6 for the T2+ and T1.

my dealer called me from the show standing by the RTI booth:

He said they were showing the outdoor, waterproof remote and it was to be released shortly

Wow

My dealer brought back color literature of RTI's new products: the T3 in particular looks great

He said RTI had a much larger booth this year and was really impressed with their new products (free T Shirts too!)

The U1 Waterproof Controller does indeed seem to be the same one we saw on the Sonance site

unfortunately the pricing on both those products is way out of control. The T3 will list at $1300 I believe if I remember correct. The LCD is much smaller than a Pronto but the remote is still not small enough to control comfotably in one hand and the K4 I believe was going to list at $2400. Though that looked like it could be a pretty cool product. I wouldn't expect the T3 to be out any time soon. It crashed when I was playing with it. Its running Windows CE. I was just navigating through the different screens I wasn't trying to do anything crazy with it. The gentlmen on the floor said it was at the smae stage at the T2+ was last year so its going to be at least a year. Though he made the same promise RTI was making last year for the T2+ saying the T3 would be out first quarter next year. Who knows by then maybe the LCD will be a lot cheaper and it could be priced more reasonable.

ohh and RTi did by back the rights from Sonance to the water proof remote I know this for fact so I would assume they did so for the K4 as well.

As I understand the situation from Sonance, unlike the other RTI/Sonance remotes the "Sonance" waterproof remote was outsourced from a company other than RTI. Perhaps RTI has developed their own, or maybe they bought the rights from the company that was going to build for Sonance? In either case it is great that this product will be available soon.

I thought the T4 looked like a real nice unit, with the features and streaming video capability I did not think $2400 was not all that bad, when you look at some of the others out there like NOBU at $3000 plus this looks like it will have a great future.

The T3 was ok but it was starting to get large enough that some of the web tabs look like a better bet, I have never been a fan of the larger hand helds, when they get big they may as well make a tablet and really put nice graphics on it. For how long it took us to get T2+'s in stock (just came in after months on order) from the initial viewing at last years CEDIA, I thing that you wont be seeing the T3 or the T4 until late next year. The U1 doesn’t look like it should take long to finish up, I would expect that a lot earlier.

I was just very happy to see RTI not only alive and well but pumping out new hardware.
