Got a great deal on a new T-2. Everything is easy and seems to work great. The touchscreen works everytime....but, pictures of it seem to have a nice white background and bright screen. Mine has a light bluish background with blue lettering that is difficult to read in even normal lighting conditions. It is acceptable in lower light. The contrast is really good for only one setting. Up or down just washes it out or darkens it to black. I was told I had a non China made LCD, more recent but is there a third manufacturer of these that made the screens perfectly bright and nice? If there is anyone that can give me feedback on their T2 brightness and screen color it would be really helpful. Not sure if it's a problem or the character of the remote to have the screen wash pretty well in normal light. Darkness of course gives it a fairly bright look. Thanks again.

The first generation screens looked pretty much like your description. When they began failing they were replaced with a different version and yes, there was more bluish tint and they were a little harder to read.

The screen on the T2+ is supposed to be brighter and more white again. I don't know if RTI can swap screens for you but you might give them a call and see if it is an option.
