all,
I'm attempting to send serial data from an IRF-6 to a Panasonic plasma via a CM-232. It didn't work, so I then plugged the CM-232 output into my PC and monitored the serial data. I cannot get ANY serial data to come out of the IRF-6. I've tried multiple ports, all with the same result. Ideas?

Do you mean multiple ports as in just plugging the CM 232 into different output ports with the hope of finding a signal? Or do you mean you assigned the code to a specific port in the macro editor which would be the correct method.
If the code is assigned to the same port you have the CM 232 plugged into, and the remote is in RF mode, then it should spit something out so long as you are getting RF reception from the remote. However plugging the CM-232 into your computer with the intent of interpreting the code would require a null modem be placed between the CM232 and your serial port.
