Hey folks -

Having a Mitsubishi 55" Diamond HDTV, I have found and am enjoying the "hidden" codes to specifically direct which input source I want to select.

There must be hidden codes for the screen format (standard, expanded, stretch, etc...) Having to run through the one direciton only list of different formats is not exactly convenient, each and every time I want to change again.

As the input device codes are out there, I believe these must be too - only question is where. Hope someone has a clue.

cheers

Mits has been using the same codeset for about 10 years now. Thats Pre WIdescreen and Pre "Format" button. While I'm sure theres space left in the codeset for such functions, its not a priority for most people. HD goes to the right aspect, and 99% of people I know leave the set on the Stretch mode and deal with the distortion.

Mits makes their Discrete codeset known. Its even built into the OEM remote. Do a search for Mitsubishi and 090 and you'll find the list of available discrete codes you can get from the OEM remote.

Believe me... Dont believe me.... No Matter, but I can assure you.... They dont exist.
