I'm playing with my first T2 since i've gotten a new computer. I use a serial pc card to program all of my other remotes and keypads. It needs to be set to comm port 7.
Is there a way to set this up in the RTI program?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Mike

On the tool bar select >options>set com port>auto detect, do this while you have the remote plugged into your serial card and in “computer link mode”, if you don’t know how to do this, hold down the long white button on the bottom of the remote for about 5 seconds. This will pull up a service menu, toggle over 3 pages till you see computer link, press this button, then do an auto detect.

That was the first thing i did. You can only manually move it up to comm 4 and autodetect mode did not find it. When I program my Elan systems and my HTM remotes comm port must be assigned to 7. Does this mean i won't be able to use this pc card to program? Anybody know how to reassign the card to a different port?
Thanks,
Mike

I have not run into this problem before. I would call RTI and talk to Peter, perhaps he has some answers.
