I have programmed less than 20 systems thus far and my conclusions are as follows: Installers are quick to blame the equipment and not themselves. There are many reasons for rf to fail and these items need to addressed when performing an install. I have fixed a few systems that were not working properly simply by moving the antenna and irf-6 to a location that is in accordance with the installation manual. I've also come across systems that didn't work because the gain of the emitter outputs was not adjusted properly. People need to read manuals; the manufacturer outlines parameters for a reason. I am learning more and more with each install. RF communication is tricky, anyone who installs wireless networks will tell you. I like the equipment, it's easy to program and has good results when done properly.

you're so right avs_one. That's why RTI left good enough alone with the IRF-6.
