I have had a T2 for a couple of years now and it has worked very well. I'm now in the process of getting an automated home lighting system (ie., Lutron) and was wondering if the T2 could control a home lighting system with RF commands directly from the remote?

Lutron sells an IR-RF converter but it's expensive and since the T2 supports RF directly I wondered if there was someone that had already done this? FWIW, Lutron says it's not possible.

Thanks for the help.

No, You cannot control Lutron Radio Ra or any other RF device other than the IRF-6 directly with the T2, your options are IR or RS232 only. Lutron products are very good but in my opinion over priced, I went to order a metal replacement faceplate for a 6 zone Graphic EYE, and they wanted something close to $300.00 for one plate!

I think however that since you can control the graphic eye via IR directly, that you can use one of the Graphic eyes (if that is what you are using)as a master control? I need to go look this up in the application manual. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
