I love my T2.

It does have quirks, like recently the IRF-6 seems to get interference and the red light will stay lit up and no commands from the T2 will be processed. It seems to have started when I added an Ethernet card to my SAT-60. Moving components in the closet around or unplugging the IRF-6 seems get it back working. Is this a sign of a near death IRF-6? Has anyone else seen this behavoir?

Another quirk is that the IR performance is pretty bad for B&O gear, I have a Lutron Graphic Eye B&O model that has the higher frequency IR codes and it has to be pointed directly at the Graphic Eye and only about 10 feet away at most for it to register. I think that I am going to run a Lutron accessory module near the IRF-6 and use an emitter to improve this :)

It is still the nicest working, programming, looking and holding remote I have found.

Sedon,

I have recently developed the same interference problem on my IRF-6. I talked to Don in service at RTI. I was very nice and he was very nice. I have a blue box IRF-6. He said there is a new firmware which should solve the problem. I got a RMA number from him and sent the box in today. I hope this solves the problem. I also developed a partial LCD failure on the bottom of my T2. I sent that in also for repair. I have had my units for 2 years. They work well but RF can be a problem. You have to have the IRF-6 far away the equipment.
