I hope the manufacturers read this. Why is a remote costing up to $600 when so many electronic gizmos are far more reasonable? Come on, maybe a $1000 computer is not the best, but it's alot more powerful and complicated. Remote prices are higher than many A/V components. What's up? Just my 2 cents.

DONT BUY IT THEN! Unless you can not afford it? And this remote does a huge amount of stuff which you will never use. This remote, unlike the rest you see on this site is as close to a crestrom/amx panel as possible. Ever heard of those remotes? Try $4000-$7500 each so this is a bargain!

Right, and don't buy gas - let's see how long before prices come down ...
If EVERYBODY bought one, then they would be really cheap - you can charge a lot less when you sell one million that when you sell one thousand. Simple economics.
