Is it possible to convert a CML file to Hex codes?

I don't have the T2 remote, but the T2 file database has codes for one of my components. I want to convert that file to Hex so I can load it into Pronto Edit. (I then will import the CCF file into my MX-800!)

Is this possible?

Thx, Gio

It IS possible. John Fine recently wrote a decoder for cml files that probably can determine the protocol, device, and command numbers. Then you can use John's MakeHex Program and create the Pronto hex.

Having said all that, if it is just one device, I'll just do it for you since that is probably easier than a detailed explanation.

What cml file and what device do you want?

Actually, its much easier than that now......

Go to http://www.sonance.com Electronics, Keypads, K2-Navigator.

This keypad is based on the T2. The K2 Programming suite comes with a IR Library manager that is WAY ahead of the old Library manager that comes with the T2 software. The K2 IR Managers has a nice big HEX tab...... that you can highligh, Copy and paste directly into ProntoEdit.

Will load up your T2 CML Library just dandy.
