I need to integrate a remote thermometer into a clients system. He wants to be able to monitor the temperature in a room with some AV equipment. Anyone know a product I can use the interface to RTI that can do this?

Does he have an existing smart thermostat? Many of them have remote temperature sensors that you could use.

You might want to use Z-Wave. Z-Wave offers inexpensive devices that track temperature and humidity. You can trigger events as well.
