I have two sony sat-t60 receivers in the same room. They are sent throughout the house via channelmaster. Because they are in the same room, they are set up to use different IR remote codes. How do I set up the RTI to allow for this?

If these tuners respond to different codes, you need to create two devices SAT#1 and SAT#2 and teach the corresponding commands from the sony remote onto the T2. If these tuners don't have separate infared codes, you would need to set up a two zone infared system and attatch micro infared repeaters to the sensors of each tuner in order to prevent IR conflicts.

If your Using an IRF-6, yoyu can just use the same IR file for both ad assign the IR outputs of the IRF-6 to go to the specific box that bneed comtroling.
If you dont hav an IRF-6, you nned to set one of the boxes up for another IR Codeset (Its not a documented process, but can be done from the Tivo setup/info screen. I dont remeber the process, but if you call sony Tech, they will give you the info. (Had todo that at a job site a couple weeks ago where I had a T60 and a HD200)
Then just learn the new comand set into the T2.

Thanks for your help. I'll try suggestion #2 as it seems to closely address my situation. I appreciate your prompt response.

To change the SAT-T60 remote code go to the System Information screen on the T-60. Press TiVo and Pause at the same time and hold them down until the light comes on steady. Press a number (0-3), I suggest 2. Now the remote address is changed to 2 for the TiVo you are editing.
I think you have to do this with the original remote and then learn the SAT-T60 codes into the RTI at command-2 (kinda like the cmd1,2,3 for their cd players)

Thanks all: I got the answer on AVS forum:
.MENU> MESSAGES & SETUP> SYSTEM INFO 2.scroll down to REMOTE ADDRESS 3.point the remote away from the receiver, press and hold PAUSE & TIVO until the red light remains on 4.while pointing the remote towards the receiver, press one of the #'s between 1-9( or if a Sony 1-3), that changes the remote to a new address. 5. Now point the remote towards the receiver, press the right directional button(not the FF key).
