I wanted to know what others are doing for the AppleTV to replicate the "long press". I currently have T1-B+ remotes sending RS-232 commands to my automation system, which, in turn, sends the applicable IR commands to the AppleTVs.

I am trying to replicate the long press that you can do via the iPhone AppleTV remote as well as the AppleTV remote. I am experimenting with different delays and repeats.

Well first off, i wouldn't send a RS232 string to then convert to IR.

I would just send IR, which can easily do a long press, or use an IP driver which also has the option to do a press and hold.

Thanks. I have to do it this way because I am only using the RTI T1-B+ remotes and an XP-6 processor. Everything else is non-RTI.
