Someone please help.
I am running a system with multiple satellite decoders running into a marantz AVR, output to a number of TV's, the control side is through RTI T3x. It has never caused an issue, and I have always had success programming new devices.

I have installed a Pace DS831S satellite decoder running Sky Italia. Input the codes, some work, some do not. I have then captured the codes using the RTI capture device, no luck. I have tried different IR buds, different IR ports, diffferent ranges of capture, running standalone from the handset to negate the processor, nothing works.

The code for the TV guide captured is this.... Any help out there?

Hi Vincent.

Thanks for your reply. That code did not work. However, Ive trawled through my libraries of codes from a few years back and found this one that's done the trick. I dont know how to interpret the HEX code, any idea why this one would work, yet the learnt one didnt? Cheers

That decodes as protocol = XMP-1, device = 49, subdevice = 16, obc = 80

The first code you posted wouldnt decode, the second code that Vincent posted is the same code you posted above but has a longer intro length and shorter repeat length.

You may have to relearn the codes and adjust the way your learning them..increase distance between remote and learner, make sure no sunlight or fluorescent lights are in the ir path while learning.
The letters T and G are very close to each other on a keyboard. This recently became all too apparent to me and consequently I will never be ending a work email with the phrase "Regards" again.
