Does anyone have experience with the T2 and the Sony g 90?

I have learned the codes from the g90 remote. They work in IR but when using the IRF 6 sending an RF signal to the IRF 6, it doesn't work. I just need on/off and have a direct 1/8" mini jack cable connecting the IRF 6 to the g90 projector. It will work when plugged directly into the Sony remote, and IR works with the T2. It will not work when sending an RF signal to the IRF 6, with the direct cable sending the information to the b90 projector.

Any suggestions.

Thanks,

Cougmeister

I think that the input jack on your G90 is
Sony's "control-S" and they are not compatible.
But there might be a fix for you, I think that
Xantech has a box that you could connect between
the IRF6 and the projector. Send an email to
the Xantech support: [email protected] and they will
know.
An other option is connect the IRF6 and G90 with a
serial cable instead.

Spaceman,

Yes, the input is a Remote S. I have written to Zantech. I do have a serial cable I purchased from RTIcorp, but it is relatively short, and the run is about 40 feet. There is wire in the wall for a serial cable, but it has no connectors on the end. I do not know how to connect the wires to the connectors to have them have the correct wires to the correct pins.

Can you help me with which wires to attach to which pins?

I have another problem that I have not yet fully researched. I am using an Arcam AV27 DVD. I can learn the codes with the RTI, but it doesn't respond in IR, using a zantech block input that I know emits. It doesn't work when I plug in the direct remote from the IRF-6. It does work with it's own remote and sometimes will work directly with the RTI T2 directly.

Any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your help.
