Well here we go again. After the October 23, 2002 switchover to a new touchscreen vendor (lighter blue color) we are experiencing a 50% return rate after some initial success in December and January. Certainly better than the 100% rate of last fall. Don't know how these guys stay in business. The RF is a joke, why do you think the high-gain antenna is now standard. I go to bed at night dreaming that someone would buy the company, keep the software, toss the T2 and design a new remote that heretofor has not fulfilled its potential. Any reasonable person would ask...why do you keep offering the RTI remote? Because it has the easiest and fastest programming software, and when programmed correctly, is one of the most intuitive for the customer. I have had several customers that have returned 4 T2's. Everyone in the store (including the receptionist) knows how to upload the file from a defective T2 and download it into a new one.

Rick,

Thanks for the message. Two things would need to happen: 1. New Hardware 2. New Management.

Regards,

Gary

if the MX700/800 could be programmed with T2 software and maintain the RS232 capability and compatibility with sync/power sensors you would really have something

I had a recent touchscreen failure and sent the T2 back for warranty repair (minus the battery, box,etc- just the bare remote)

Last week I get a new, boxed T2 as a warranty replacement, complete, from RTI- and it works just fine

so there is hope- I am happy again!

I have yet to find another remote with the capabilities of the T2
