I am new to RTI programming and am having a difficult time finding IR codes for an LG TV - 65UH615A and a Cisco cable box - Explorer 4642HDC. Can someone point me in the right direction, please??

Try some other models of the same brand...try some other Lg tv codes. Usually the ir codes are same over the years. Same with the cable box.

You may need to learn the LG codes from the original remote. If it is one of their "magic" remotes or whatever they call it, it might be a little tricky, but possible. I had to do that for a top of the line LG a couple years ago as only a few codes from each code set seemed to work. Took a while to get it all right and never was able to get discrete power codes that worked so I created some if then logic to make discrete power codes.
Regarding the Cisco cable box, you can also try Scientific Atlanta codes. I found that a lot of those crossed over in the past.
Good luck!
