I have a T2i with an XP6. I have the power off button as a page flip to a power off confirm page. When I test remote, it works great. Client uses and at end of night when they go to power off system, remote locks up and will only do page flips (Can go to home page or power off page). I have talked to RTI tech support and have latest firmware and have pulled battery after installing. This is constant and getting irritating and client getting ticked. Anyone have any thoughts. I have rewritten program thinking I had a bad command somewhere that was causing lockup but now think this is not the case.

Is it zigbee or 433?

Is it a hardwired zigbee or repeater ?

Personally I'd use 433. Sounds like it's lost it's communication.

Do you have any form of feedback on the remote to prove it has a connection to the processor ? For example I have the time on every page. If there's no connection there's no time.

You could always put the reconnect to zigbee command on the remote somewhere for him to press if it is disconnecting.

But like I said go with 433 and that might prove more reliable ?

How far away is the remote from the zigbee ? Did you do the counter driver check ?

Hardwired.

No feedback currently but was going to add in future.

Antenna is in closet about 15 feet from living room but remote is stored in closet in dock.

If I reset it works great from 30 to 40 feet away, but once nothing is done on it for a few hours, it has lost connection.

Good idea about clock.

Talked to tech support yesterday and think was to close to other gear in closet. I moved antenna to top of closet and same thing. I was wondering if ZM24 could be bad?

Replaced ZM24 today and made no difference. Moved ZM24 out of equipment area to behind TV and that did not help. RTI tech supports says that wireless network is on same frequency so my Ubiquiti AP's are interfering with their system. Going to try and switch to RM433 and see if that works. Everytime I talk to tech support it is something in the room or area but not their equipment.
They even stated that antenna had to be in view of remote??? Don't we go with RF so equipment is out of view.
