I think I've seen one for WDTV on the RTI forums. Check the RTI third-party driver forum, you will have better luck there.

There is a 3rd party beta limited control driver for WDTV, but it requires installing a third party operating system on the drive. As far as LG goes, there is no IP driver, but a serial driver exists.

And I'm quite sure that when the screen is Off, the network card is powerered down, so you wouldn't be able to power the screen up.

I have a WDTV driver from the dealer site, however i have not been able to get the driver to indicate if it is on or off,
i also tried the TCP Alive driver it has been very frustrating
any ideas to help
